What’s up? Content marketing, what’s it?

Currently a huge of content producing to rise up the corporate image illustrates the new trend. While it's not a recent practice. Each brand try to attract traffic consumers through communication et marketing tools. They are different media range as news on blog, articles on their own website, tickets in press, or posts on social networking .
Also, brands use others like video, Live ...for instance.

But, some of those use it to :

get a way to circumvent a law?  OR  just to grow brand fame?

To illustrante my idea, I choose 2 videos ( because video is the most appealing media from web users and help understanding):

The first is a little bit oldest one than the second one. However, both seem linked to marketing strategy. I let you see.

Extracted from the BMW film series " The Hire", especially produced for the web in 2001 and 2002. the short movies were directed by popular worldwide filmmakers and starred Clive Owen as "The Driver". The shorts emphasize that the BMW automobiles' performance.
